Baranil, Suportlo & Zermatt - Degermann S.A
Highly regarded among enthusiast, this leather has a smooth matte surface with a light bloom (wax) when fresh. The temper is soft with a gentle hand (bounce). A close cousin to Novonappa (Haas), this leather has a slightly smoother surface compared to the latter. It has mild scratch and water resistance and deepens its original colour as it patinas.
Suportlo is a fattier version of the Baranil with a slightly firmer surface and temper.
Zermatt is famous for extra durability and anti allergic property. This leather has minimal reaction to sweat and water making it an excellent choice for watch strap lining.
