WILD DEERskin

Vibrant and full of character, these deer hides are tanned in mid Europe by independent artisans. Unlike the soft deer leathers used for garments, these hides are full vegetable tanned giving them a structured and firm temper. The natural dyeing process causes the dyes to be taken up differently throughout the hide giving the finish a subtle variation of colours.

Surface: Strong hardy surface with embossed finish. Good scratch resistance.
Tanning: Vegetable tanned.
Patina: Excellent. Colour will deepen over time.

All of our products are hand made with traditional leather crafting techinques. They are cut, saddle stitched and burnished by hand. Our stock of leathers are sourced from the finest tanneries around the world. We use full grain leathers which shows its natural qualities and will have subtle differences between every hide. The combination of these processes results in a unique feeling between every product.
