This special finish from Badalassi Carlo is a unique extension of their renowned minerva box leather. The hide first goes through vachetta tanning and milled to become minerva box. It is then heavily oiled producing a slight pull up effect and buffed for a soft napped surface. The extra finishing steps makes this leather distinctly different from the minerva box giving it much more vintage characteristics.

Tannery: Badalassi Carlo (Italy).
Temper: Medium.
Surface: Milled, natural grain and lightly napped (suede effect).
Tanning: Vegetable tan & heavily oiled.
Patina: Excellent, napped surface will smooth out over time.
Other notes: Exhibits light pull up effect. Has unique grainy character with a napped surface.
