Minerva Box

Minerva Box is a milled grain leather from Badalassi Carlo. Milling is a process that allows individual hides to produce its own natural grain. Sizing and irregularity of the grain is variable and will depend on the dermal fibres and thickness of the individual hides. Unlike Perlinger's shrunken calf the Minerva Box is vegetable tanned which allows it to develop character and patina over time.  The surface is smooth and lustrous with high fat content accentuating its colour with use.

Tannery: Badalassi Carlo (Italy).
Temper: Soft.
Surface: Milled, natural grain varying on pattern and intensity.
Tanning: Mixed vegetable tan.
Patina: Excellent, deepens colour while accentuating grain.
Other notes: Naturally soft feel, slightly bouncy and has a fragrant scent.
